It's been quiet over the past couple of weeks. The weather has been colder and we're starting to hibernate! We also had a very wet weekend, so couldn't even get out for a bike ride. I felt so bad, I went to the sports shop and invested in a bike trainer so that, in desperation, I can ride inside!
In the meantime, Mally's growing, and little Zarah is almost ready for her grand entrance! Here's a photo of Mally at 37 weeks. She's still feeling and looking great!

That's my granddaughter in there :) |
Today was the last time I'll get to see Venus passing in front of the sun. It won't happen again for 105 years, so unless they come up with some miraculous pill for longevity - we're not going to be here next time it happens! Our neighbour, Graham, set up his telescope so we could see it without looking directly at the sun. I'm not really into Astronomy, but it is pretty fascinating! Here is what we saw at about 11:30 this morning.

Venus is the bigger dark spot, and the smaller ones are sun spots. |

This is the story of what was happening |
This evening Glen and I went up to the
Buderim Tavern and had a drink and some dinner there. We should go there more often - although it has the dreaded pokies - it does have a nice atmosphere in the restaurant area. There was a nice log fire burning - it's pretty cold for The Sunshine Coast! We enjoyed the meal and sat by the fire afterwards and enjoying a chat and a drink.
